LNY Red Envelope (MISTAKES)
LNY Red Envelope (MISTAKES)
Lunar New Year or Tết in Vietnamese is the celebration welcoming the new year based off the lunar calendar. It is tradition to gift red envelopes also known as 紅包, hóngbāo (Cantonese), ang bao (TeoChew), orlì xì(Vietnamese) to friends and family. Inside red envelopes are crisp, new bills that symbolize luck, prosperity, and good wishes for the new year. This is the year of the Snake.
